The kids picked and ate their first treats from their garden. Makenna, especially, likes to go out and water each day and check on the plants' progress. They had planted the radishes earliest because of a science experiment Isaac was doing. They also have tomatoes, lettuce, pumpkins (huge vines, but no pumpkins yet), hot peppers, green onions and another kind of squash. Since this picture was taken, the girls picked and dared Isaac to eat one of the peppers. He did it, then drank about a gallon of milk. They are hot. Is it funny to anyone else that we are gardening in February?
