Ziplines and Water Fights
We got up earlier today and ate the yogurt and rolls we had purchased the night before and double bagged to get home dry. We had to be downstairs early-ish to be picked up to go to the Flying Hanuman. This is a zip line course carefully built into a centuries old forrest of mainly rubber trees, though we did stand under at least one Durian too (pee-u!) There are 28 zip lines, one is 200 m long and another 400m! That's a full quarter mile. There are also crazy stairs, skywalks and a surfboard zip line. It was beautiful and so fun. We had the Go Pro's on, but no still pictures. I took a few minutes and skimmed through a few of the videos and took screen shots. These will have to do for now. The kids will edit the best parts together to make a video later. The ones on the newer camera look loads better stilled.

Makenna
Jess and I "surfing". It's hard to see but she is right in front of me and we are standing on a sliding board.
Makenna

Isaac

Jess flying superman in front of one of the guides. She had to go with a guide on the long ones because she didn't weigh enough on her own.
He flipped upside down and they looked like some crazy spider.
There were a few uphill climbs through the jungle air. We had a bit of a workout.
There goes Jess.
Matt coming in for a landing.
It was so beautiful!
Some hanging stairs.
Isaac
This is Makenna, Matt and Isaac(mostly hidden) surfing in. These are totally out of order.
Jess and my hand on our partner zip.
Another skybridge.
There were two spots where we got dropped down rope pulleys, fast!
Superman Jess about to launch with her guide.
Long way down.
If you look for the yellow, that's Isaac on his way down 40m.
Now he's at the bottom.
At the end, taking off sweaty helmets. Isaac wanted a picture of us in our bandanas. We don't look happy here, but it was a GREAT couple of hours.
We had lunch there and then started the slow drive back. It took about 15 minutes to get there, but well over an hour to get back because of all the water war traffic.
We got a taste of the crazy wet the night before, but today it was taken to a whole new level. The block walk from the end of the street to where the hotel was located left us completely drenched. Good thing we already had swimsuits on. We went upstairs and armed ourselves for the afternoon.
Thousands of people with guns/buckets/bowls. The craziest, biggest water fight I could ever conceive.
I'm taking notes to type more later. Chalk/baby powder. ice chunks. roaming vs planting. scooters, dinner dry off, get soaked again
