Girls Camp July 2015

   First off I'd like to say a big thank you to the Mueller's for inviting me to join them at girls camp.  It was really fun to hang out with a lot of awesome people and enjoy the best nature Colorado has to offer.  These are some of the wonderful highlights of the adventure.  I'm amazed at how well the people in charge managed to organize so many people so well.  All the different activities included rock climbing, white water rafting, hiking, and biking.
   The first day consisted of getting to the lodge where we were stayed and some hiking.  The Muellers let me sleep over the night before so we could get to camp early.  Unfortunately we got hopelessly lost for about an hour and a half.  When we did manage to get there, it was absolutely beautiful.  We stayed at a ski lodge up in the mountains.  I think they rented out the entire place for us.  Behind the place where we stayed were many long beautiful ski runs.  There was about a hundred girls plus all the adults staying at the lodge.  I was in a room that included 5 other girls.
The room was crowded with that many girls.  The lodge was beautiful.  After we settled in we all gathered for a welcoming hike.  Unfortunately the people leading didn't really know where to go and ended up accidentally leading us straight up this black diamond ski slope.  It was beautiful, but exhausting.

Day 2:  On day 2 we went biking.  It was so pretty!  There was this trail that went along the river we would be rafting on the next day.  The weather was amazing if not on the chilly side.  The scenery was absolutely stunning.

Day 3:  Day 3 was rafting.  I don't have any pictures of us actually doing it which is understandable as my camera would be ruined.  So these pictures are afterwards.

These were my roommates. Lily, Addy, Mia, and Alie.  Payton is in this picture but she wasn't actually sleeping in our room.  I don't know where Mia was.  She was the other person.

   Sadly I forgot my camera for the rock climbing, but besides that, this was what girls camp was like.  Another thank you to the Muellers for letting tag along.  It was a blast!
