It was just magnificent. The costumes/puppets were incredible. The singing talent was very good. The opening scene gave 3/4 of the big girls "water eyes". Makenna couldn't help singing along to many of the songs which surprised me a little because it's not a movie they have watched much. At intermission both girls stood up and were dancing in front of their seats. It's homecoming season in Vegas and there was a big group of modestly dressed up high schoolers behind us who luckily thought the girls were cute and didn't mind their excitement. The show was a little over 2 1/2 hours long, but seemed much shorter. I'm so happy Jess made it through without needing a potty break.
I took these pictures with my phone. Without a flash, the quality is lousy. Better than nothing though.
Afterwards, we watched two fountain shows with a pizza slice for a late dinner and a visit to the Bellagio's gorgeous seasonal atrium. It was great fun to spend the afternoon and evening with family and friend. I left with my little girls after our second fountain show at 8:30. The big girls stayed downtown for a couple more hours. It was a fun weekend and we are now looking forward to seeing Ben.
