We woke up earlier Thursday to drive to Abu Dhabi and visit the Grand Mosque. It was hot. Our phones said 100!
Our 7 person group was big enough for our own personal guide.

Makenna was feeling ill--probably the heat.
It wasn't nearly as fun as dune bashing the night before, but interesting and educational. Great for the homeschooler who have all had lessons on Islam and Mosques. The guides are happy to answer any questions about the building, religion or culture.
Gorgeous pictures. Heat doesn't translate but I remember. We were there in May but it wasn't that hot.
