Kenna's Korner, written by Makenna

Kenna's Korner.

Well, I really enjoyed taking these pictures.  There are a lot.  Three days worth, and still not all of them are here.  Some are older than others, so you can sort of see the garden flowers grow.

These are by the magic carpet flowers Grandma Terry kindly got me!
These are plants that get everywhere and flower.  They are pretty!

These are more magic carpet buds.  They were so cute.

They bloomed!

This is my garden.  Thank you Mom and Dad! Plus Grandma Terry for seeds!

In the back are the sunflowers.  The lower ones will be yellow the taller ones dark pink and red!
This is a side shot of the " Kenna's Korner."

This is the mint. It seems to run on heat,  it's so green!

More spreading flowers.

 Lettuce

I just had to get this shot!  It is one of the magic carpet flowers in the evening.

It looked like a sunflower forest!

The sunflower leaves are so big!  They are like a wall of sunflowers.

I thought this was a pretty shot of the spreading plants.

These are the ice plants that "thrive" in hot dry places.

Through the mint.

Okay, the basil looks bad, but it is only the leaves which are basically dead. New leaves are coming but you can't see them.  We have had these for a while.  Jessica and I saved them when Mom was done with them and wanted to throw them away.
These are some of the radishes Isaac threw around and oddly started to grow. They were for some experiment of his and he was trying to get rid of the extra seeds and now we have a lot radishes.  Some are in a different place.
These came with the house.  Just part of the backyard but they were so pretty!  Any guess what they are?
 They are getting bigger!!!

In the back are some climbing flowers!  The red plant was a decoration for the church at Christmas.  They were trying to get rid of them and Mom took one. Now it is in the garden!

This is the floppy lemon tree.

This was just a little plant when we got here, barely getting along.  Now the gardener and I have been planting stuff there it has been getting more water and bigger!  Now it has flowers!  Blurred in the back the small old pumpkin.  It never did that well.  All its attemps at a fruit have died.  Though it is still soldiering on.
 Little onion.

 Little...?

 This is the lettuce
So we never got to eating the lettuce and it started to flower.  Now it is net work of little branches, flowers, and fluff.
This was what the big pumpkin did to: it would get bunch of new little leaves and flowers then slowly become the new branch.
The pumpkin.

There were evil yellow bugs and beetles that were destroying the flowers but I got some beetles out and sprayed the yellow bugs with vinegar.
 These are the new flowers.

Baby flowers.

This plant used to not be doing so well but is now getting better too.

Jess's bush I water.
Aloe vera.

The other radishes. They have always been... disfigured a bit.  Snails eat the leaves.  There are a lot of little snails in Dubai.

Some how a basil seed got into the radishes and is growing.  It looks bad because I picked some leaves recently.  Normally it is really pretty.

Through a plant on the porch.

Ahead is "Kenna's Korner."

The tropical flowers bloomed!

Bud of a tropical flower.

Lots of magic carpet flowers.

Look closely.  There is a fat caterpillar in the middle.

Spreading plants are blooming!

"Kenna's Korner."

The End.
