These pictures were all taken the first week in August.
We were still testing and price checking suitcases before buying a couple replacements before going home.
Didn't buy it--this time--but had to send this pic to Jen to tease.
Isaac continuing to work on his brain waves project and equipment list. We made one more trip to the little mom and pop electronics store before we left.

We took a memorial walk to the grave site of the unborn baby birds. Jessica and Aleaha found their eggs and evidence of their demise. They buried them by the park and marked the site with orange peels rather than an official headstone to discourage small children from disturbing the site.

We took a long overdue walk to Pulpit Rock. We waited for the day to cool down, but then had to hustle to beat the rain.

I forgot the story that was happening here. There was much laughter and some inside joke going on while I was trying to snap a picture.

On the walk back, we saw over a dozen deer walking through this yard and then off into the green space.
One last incline of the year. Isaac missed his turn. Makenna came back for more!
Isaac made it first, but posed with me. We started back down, met Makenna and then they raced to the top again.

I got a hair cut. Makenna and Jess both got hair trims. Jessica did NOT want one. But after calming down, LOVED the improvement.
