This picture was taken the day we first got all Isaac's football gear. He was so excited to try it all on. Now that he has been practicing 3 times a week for over a month, it's not nearly so clean. His helmet is now painted gold under a few grass stains. There are real football cleats and a game jersey too. I'll take some at his next game, or have Matt do it. He had his first game yesterday. He didn't play too much--he still needs to earn his spot on the team--but they won by a huge margin. I never dreamed so many kids started playing tackle football so early! But he is loving it still and working hard each week. The girls' soccer games start next Saturday, so scheduling will be interesting.
