We ended up coming here two weeks in a row after Kelly's kids finished piano. It is a lovely park along one of Beccy's favorite running routes which she kindly shared with me. There is a covered pavillion and a big playground, but the kids only had eyes for the stream, and the wild cherry tree. They made boats, splashed around, floated and caught things and picked and ate lots of cherries.
These girls couldn't be bothered by picnic tables. A fancy flagpole stand is much more interesting
The water was cold, but the day was warm.
