Our Utah Schedule

We were flexible and on vacation, but we were there long enough that we didn't expect anyone to drop their normal plans.  We were happy to try to visit as many cousins as possible whenever they were available.  The schedule, as it turned out is the worst example of fuel efficiency ever, but it's rather amusing in a sadistic kind of way.  I'm going to try to recreate the basics here, then go into more details with pictures in later posts.

July 2: leave Colorado Springs, arrive Golden, CO
July 3: leave Golden, arrive Pleasant Grove, UT.  Stay 4 nights
July 7: drive to Bountiful, stay 1 night
July 8: drive to Pleasant Grove, stay 1 night
July 9: dinner in Alpine, visit in SLC with Ben, drive to Bountiful for 1 night
July 10: church in Bountiful, dinner, drive back to Pleasant Grove, stay for 4 nights
**This is where Don and Chris saved me 20 hours of driving.  They very kindly drove Isaac down to scout camp near Cedar City and went on to St. George for the week.  They brought him back home too!  I had been planning on driving down and back Monday and Friday/ Saturday.  Thank you! Thank you!
July 14: drive to Bountiful, stay 1 night
July 15: drive to Pleasant Grove, stay 1 night
July 16: hike ALL day, drive to Bountiful, stay 2 nights
July 18: drive to Pleasant Grove, stay 1 night
July 19: drive to Alpine, stay 2 nights
July 21: drive to Pleasant Grove, stay 2 nights
July 23: drive to Colorado Springs, stay one night
July 24: drive to Golden, CO stay 2 nights
July26: drive to Colorado Springs

We thought that was the end of our overnight packing, but we are going back to Golden tomorrow for a night.  ;-)
