We made the 9 hour drive successfully and arrived at Troy's house Sunday evening. The kids went into cousin play mode, but we tried to get everyone settled down for bed at a reasonable hour because we had our race in the morning. Everyone in the house was running one of the distances, plus Emily's family and Kim would be there too.
1 Mile: Kim was in charge of Lucy, who placed in her age group. Emily was in charge of Sam, who placed in his age group. Troy was watching over Jessica, Katie and Kate who all ran together, holding hands. Cute.
5K: Isaac ran with Makenna helping her finish her 2nd 5K. Jared and Beccy ran together. Justin pushed Tommy and ran with Hyrum who finished in 30:09!! He's not even quite 7 yet.
10K: Kyle, Curt and I all finished respectably.
No one was interested in the parade. So we left to celebrate the run with bagels. This is also when I learned that the Stadium of Fire was held early, on July 2nd, so there would be no fireworks display to watch that night. Bummer. After we all showered, the girls went off to play and Isaac and Jared layered themselves for an air-soft war.

That's not smoke, it's glare off the glass window.
