Makenna's "make do" garden is still producing and her birthday one has sprouts popping up all over. We have eaten tomatoes, green onions, radishes, lettuce, a hot pepper, basil, and pumpkins. It was a grand first try. We know what we want more of next year.
The flowers, herbs and lettuce are doing nicely in her new garden with good dirt. She still loves to go out and water everyday, though on our one day of rain she thought it was nice to have a vacation. The first 3 pictures show her planting mid March. The last two show the plants' progress in the past couple weeks.
