Leaving America and coming back to Dubai was much harder this time. If Matt hadn't been there waiting, maybe we wouldn't have. It was especially hard after the near perfect day spent in the rain forests of Mt. Rainer National Park.
We returned the rental car and went to the airport. We had a farewell burrito again from Qdoba--can you make a tradition out of two times in a row? All we had left was a 14.5 hour flight. We arrived at night, Matt picked us up. It was hot and muggy. After leaving the green forests on Mt. Rainier, it looked like we ended up in a sand pit. So many plants in the neighborhood had died. It was still good to be home, but the idea of changing "home's" location was growing. When and where will the next adventure lead? I really don't have many pictures of this time. Luckily Jess took more.

Jessica selfie. Joyous reunion with her room.
She worked her summer creations into her decor.
Then continued painting some more.
Dead looking neighborhood.
Jessica made fancy deviled eggs.
Thus we begin football and pizza nights!
Go Seahawks!
We have to run it on a transformer, but I buckled under family pressure and got a waffle maker. There has been much rejoicing.
Meeting back up with old friends. Hi Michele! We were about to start spending a LOT more time with their family. Jess and Isaac have been friends with their age counterparts for years, but Makenna and Zaid are about to get over shyness and become good friends too. Dinners and playdates at least once a week.
