There was another big storm during the night and when grandma went out at dawn to check her plants she also rescued another baby bunny from drowning/freezing. When the girls woke up, they were surprised with an adorable friend waiting snug and cozy in a green bucket.
They slept outside, but the next morning, Emmy was still content to let Jessica pick her up. Jitter stayed true to his name and hopped away. Jessica played momma kangaroo and kept Emmy with her in the apron pocket. This was a most beloved baby bunny.
After completely forgetting breakfast and a long session of adoring, Makenna kept caring for "Jitter" while Jessica went outside to see if there were any others in need of rescue. She came back with Emmy. They were the softest little critters.

She would still allow herself to be picked up on the 3rd day if you spoke to her first and patted her a couple times. But by day four, she wanted to stay wild. Jessica could still always spot her by her little white spot and would coo and adore from a distance during our last weeks.
That is a whole lot of cuteness!
