We had a fabulous field trip last week to In 'N Out with a bunch of our homeschool friends. I left even more impressed with their quality, freshness and prices than before. We started the tour with them taking our orders. All the kids AND grown-ups got the hamburger/cheeseburger of their choice along with fries and a small drink on the house. Add the hats and stickers for everyone and they spent quite a bundle on us. I guess chalk it up to advertising costs, but it's not like we weren't loyal customers to begin with! We got to go all through the back of the store and hear interesting facts and figures about their massive deliveries that come every other day and how many punds of potatoes they peel twice a day and how it is still a family run business and they only promote from within their ranks. The kids all took turns using the french fry machine--using the lever to push them through the cutter. And afterward we ate fresh, hot yummy food. The only downside was that they have to do field trips early--before opening crowds. So hambergers for 2nd breakfast felt a little funny, but they were still so tasty.

Isaac did it the fastest and the only one out of all 16 kids that I caught the fries coming down. The manager told him to come talk to him when he's 16.

This is what Jessica always does with her stickers. Someday she will grow out of it. We hope. Is it because Makenna used to cover her with stickers when she was a baby in her bouncy seat?
