Makenna's Activity Day Leaders planned a Mother/Daughter Tea for one of their May activities. Makenna has been so excited since she first brought home the invitation a month ago. Our food assignment was homemade whole wheat rolls. (One of their leaders is my friend and a fan of the bread:-)) Makenna loves to bake and enjoyed the prospect of fulfilling a specific request even more. The "Tea" wasn't until dinnertime, but she worked on her outfit all day. Then she helped me. Fancy Nancy was our inspiration/guide. There were over 40 moms/girls there and it was lots of fun. I'm just sorry you can't see Makenna's shoes in the picture. They are spectacularly sparkly.

Mother Daughter Tea
