We have a big advent calendar I made with a neighbor years ago. I try to put in a Christmas activity each day. This is the day we made Rice Krispie wreaths. Each of the kids made a wreath, but also a Christmas Tree. Here are Isaac's creations.
They looked rather nice with sprinkles and red hots added, but I think we should have added a few more drops of green food coloring to make the color a bit more intense. Here is a shot of Makenna working.
The thing about living in Las Vegas is Rice Krispies do not save well. They dry out too fast. So it's best to eat them right away. The kids didn't mind that at all. Good thing we got the pictures because their creations didn't last long. Jess was nice and shared one with me.
