Nutcracker

I bought the tickets before Matt started work on City Center, so we invited Makenna's friend, Mia, to take his place. It was a wonderful show with a few fun twists. For instance, the nutcracker was never a toy, but a rather mechanical human who loosened up after the nighttime magic. And there was a higher percentage of children in the cast than I have ever seen. I loved the choreographer. The audience was almost entirely families with young children or groups of elderly people all dressed up. I guess the couples are more likely to go to an evening performance.
