At the Sharjah Airport
Mid-flight on Air Arabia heading towards Antalya.
Day 1 October 3
Pitched tents at 3:45am went straight
to sleep.
Woke up and had breakfast and a small tour
around our camp sight. Mustafa showed us all the different trees and plants in
the area and what they were used for. Then the boys fished for about 2 hours.
They caught loads and some of the boys even cleaned and gutted the fish
themselves.
We had lunch of the fish they caught then went
for a hike. We ate some bread on the side of the road. Saw an amazing bridge
and some ruins.
Back to camp for dinner. Chicken skewers and veg
for dinner. Playing frisbee around camp. Played tag around camp.
Our blueberry tents were set up sometime after midnight. We had our first good view of the campsite in the morning.
The water poured out of a spring and was so tasty. We filled our water bottles up here all week.

Amazing fresh caught trout with only salt, a bay leaf and wrapped in grape leaves, cooked on the grill.
In the afternoon we went on a hike up the road.
