The kids were awfully excited to play in the snow. The whiteness, the compact ability, the taste, but not so much the cold. Funny how you forget the cold. The highs for the whole week were under 30. One morning driving Matt to work, the car said 8. Brrrrr. But they still wanted to play. We bundled them up the best we could and let them out. Between our own stuff and Grandma Chris' they had mismatched sets of the basics.
Isaac and Makenna wanted to try shoveling. It's fun if it's a rare treat.
Jess worked on building a multi-balled snowman.
Isaac liked the goggles.
Ta DA!
Cozy beds by the fire.
Isaac had his own bachelor pad by the big front room window.
The kids even managed to get quite a bit of school done on the trip. No where near the full week that I brought along, but a couple of good days!
