We tried putting a temporary dye into Isaac's hair Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, but it just wasn't working. It would be a little darker for a few hours, but didn't even last through rehearsal. Thursday morning I went early to Walmart and bought some dye. There are so many to choose from, I just ended up picking one that you apply with foam because it sounded easier.
Isaac hollered and complained that it stunk so BAD. But in the end he had dark hair (and a dark shadow on his neck and the backs of his ears. . . .) So for with his contacts and new hair color, he is looking much more like his twin.

These are shots of the foam starting to work. I was just trying to distract him from whining for a few minutes out of the 30 it has to sit and cure. In the end, he was glad we did it and thought he looked quite decent with darker hair.
Isaac also got contacts (which he has been wanting anyway) for the role. Here he is in Costco learning to put them on.
