The food art class had just ended when we came by and the chef invited us in and did a couple quick demonstrations.
He made a cantaloupe flower
and a swan from a honeydew melon. His finished bouquet is pictured too. He told us that if we wanted to come back tomorrow, he would be carving an ice sculpture with a chain saw.

At the end of the tour, the kids got to sample a bunch of different cookies from the baking class. It made us all want to enroll. They offer kids' classes twice a year. Maybe we'll have to sign-up!

Wow! I didn't know you were a blogger...I'm amazed at how much you do for your kids. You are an awesome mom! And what a great field trip!
