Matt's birthday has come and gone. It seemed rather anti-climactic this year without a cake, but he insisted and I had to acquiesce. He did have #2 pasta, a favorite from the Pasta Cafe in the Germany Commissaries that we worked hard to perfect. The kids were excited to wrap and give his presents--a new drill with bits and the obligatory box of Junior Mints. Makenna also made a special card for us all to sign.
