A New Gap

Jess has lost another tooth.  It was about to fall out for days, but she enjoyed the drama too much to end it.  After brushing her teeth last night I was joking with her that if she would just flick it, it would pop out.  I actually did give it a little flick as I said that, and indeed it did pop right out and land on her tongue.  She was shocked for a moment, then laughed and laughed.  Now her favorite trick is keeping her teeth clenched tight and poking her tongue out the hole.  With the loose one gone, many foods are possible again.  Hooray for long peeled carrots and apple slices!
